Our Background
After vacationing in Sodus Point for several years we fell in love with the rich history and beautiful waterfront setting. We decided to move there and make Sodus Bay our front yard. A few years later we purchased a small run down marina and created a new destination at Sodus Point. Coal Trestle Cove is a beautiful piece of property that offers waterfront lodging as well as docks for boats 24' and smaller. Coal Trestle Cove is opening in the Spring of 2021 and will give visitors a chance to experience the same great vacations we did before moving to the area. Come see how beautiful Sodus Point is and learn all about the history of the area including; the Coal Trestle, the railroad, the trolly, Beechwood girl scout camp, the war of 1812 and the underground railroad. LODGING
THE LOFT
The Loft features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom in an open floor plan. This upstairs unit overlooks sparkling Sodus Bay. It offers a clean, comfortable, fully furnished rental with a three night minimum.
THE BOAT HOUSE
The Boat House is a romantic bungalow surrounded on 2 sides by Sodus Bay. You can't get any closer to the water! Completely remodeled, this unit offers a perfect getaway for couples.
WATERFRONT WINE & SPIRITS
Opening day has arrived! Wednesday, March 9 at 10:00am. Waterfront Wine & Spirits is opening its doors to shoppers as the premier liquor store in Sodus Point. Located on State Route 14, between Katlynn Marine and Sodus Marina, we are offering a wide variety of international wines, New York State wines and ciders, popular vodkas, rums, gins, tequilas, whiskeys, bourbons and cordials along with flavorful mixers and canned cocktails, all at competitive prices. MARINA
Come Visit
Coal Trestle Cove offers a small Marina with 15 slips. Our boat slips can accommodate boats 24' and smaller. The Marina opens May 1st and shuts down for the season in October. The Marina's hours of operation are 6:30am - 9:30pm daily. Call for pricing and availability No overnight guests in the Marina please.
